Introduction

  • Responsible for all aspects of the pre-commissioning and commissioning to support the successful delivery of the COMP1 scope;
  • Responsible as necessary to support the system completion functions for COMP1 during the execution stage;
  • Reviews/approves systems completion and commissioning deliverables for inclusion for COMP1 packages;
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining processes and interfaces related to overall Systems Completion procedures for COMP1;
  • Drives ongoing focus on systems completion deliverables for COMP1;
  • Works closely with operations advisors to align on SIMOPs, Brownfield scope and systems completion strategy for COMP1.

What are you going to do 

  • Manage timely delivery of all systems completion’s deliverables (pre-commissioning and commissioning) for COMP1;
  • Ensures overall system completions compliance with Projects specifications, procedures, and plans;
  • Develop and manage effective systems completion procedures and tools, and commissioning plans for effective and smooth handover to the operating organization;
  • Develop the project systems completion philosophy in full coordination with OPCO;
  • Work in a project environment to create a culture that encourages everyone to contribute to their best ability every day;
  • Coordinates complex internal and external interfaces including the potential for simultaneous operations (SIMOPS);
  • Clear and concise communications required with PMT members;
  • Leads by example and demonstrates high integrity in all details while sensitive to multi-cultural differences and effective communications with individuals for whom English is second language;
  • Interacts effectively with COMPANY Project Teams and Departments to resolve issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and an ability to influence without authority.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate engineering discipline;
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in oil & gas industries and minimum 5+ years on similar position;
  • Experience with Project Execution related environment with broad experience of projects, engineering, and systems completion;
  • Experience of dealing with Brownfield Projects and Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS);
  • Pipeline and subsea skid experiences;
  • Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to collaborate with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds;
  • Excellent written and oral English skills;
  • Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills;
  • Effective communication, influencing and interface skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience of system completion management systems.
