The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing process engineering documentation, supporting design activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing engineering support during construction, commissioning and handover phases.The role requires a strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals, plant operations, process safety and site execution activities.Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Data Sheets and Instrument Data Sheets.Develop and review Control Philosophies, Line Sizing Calculations and process engineering calculations.Review vendor documentation including GA drawings, technical specifications, sizing sheets and other technical documents.Support process design and engineering activities throughout project execution.Participate in HAZOP, risk assessment and process safety review meetings.Manage and support Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) activities and ensure process documentation is updated accordingly.Coordinate with Operations, Instrumentation, Piping, Mechanical and Commissioning teams.Provide engineering support during site construction, installation and commissioning activities.Support PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Review) and MC Walkdowns.Support system handover activities, including documentation completion and punch point closure.Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable safety, quality and engineering standards.Provide technical support to vendors and contractors during installation and commissioning.Participate in technical evaluations, engineering reviews and process calculations.Assist with troubleshooting and resolving process engineering issues during project execution.Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent).Minimum 3 years of relevant process engineering experience.Strong understanding of chemical/process engineering fundamentals.Hands-on experience with PFD and P&ID development/review.Good knowledge of process calculations and line sizing.Experience with process data sheets and technical documentation.Understanding of control philosophy development.Familiarity with HAZOP, risk assessment and process safety practices.Experience with EMOC / Management of Change procedures.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.Exposure to plant commissioning, PSSR, MC Walkdowns and system handover.Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Familiarity with process simulation or engineering software tools is an advantage.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Brunel International S.E.A.
