What are you going to do 

  • Drawing search/Part list search.​
  • Finding the correct ID of the component in IPCA (SW used for IMDS management by Densp)- check PN (drawing), data (material list/DDS/PPAP). ​
  • Verify the supplier's actuality (part list/DCI/PC).​
  • Create a tree in IPCA acc. to the drawing documentation/part list.​
  • Perform QA check of MDS data in IPCA .​
  • Evaluate the accuracy of the MDS data.​
  • Enter incorrect data into SQA correction file.​
  • Request an MDS update from the supplier. ​
  • Receive and approve updated MDS data - check the supplier data acc. to the drawing documentation/material list/DDS/PPAP.​
  • Update MDS data in the tree.​
  • Add recipient data to IPCA regarding customer drawing documentation.​
  • Add supplier data to IPCA - supplier code/ZGS code/…​
  • Compare product weight - drawing vs. measurement (real weight).​
  • Perform Quality check in IPCA.​
  • Evaluate the accurancy of the data - legislative and system requirements.​
  • Check of BPR information in IMDS (biocides).​
  • Communicate with the customer in the event of discrepancies, request a deviation,etc.​
  • Submitt MDS data via IPCA.​
  • Inform the customer IMDS team about the changes and data submission.​
  • Add IMDS ID to excel file.​
  • MDS data approval from customer = accepted MDS data ​
  • For rejected MDS data - communicate with the customer/supplier/update the tree and resent data. It can lead to several meetings with customer and supplier to clarify the mistakes and find the correct solution.​

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and part lists.
  • Hands‑on experience with MDS data handling, including verification and updates.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when working with material compliance data.
  • Experience communicating with suppliers and customers regarding discrepancies and corrections.
