Introduction

  • The job holder is accountable for the following activities offshore:
    • Promoting HSE policies & practices, culture and objectives for all entities working onsite
    • HSE coaching of all workforces onsite.
    • Along with Site FOPS HSE, being “visible at Site” and “walking the talk” with HSE best practice as a priority.
    • Intervene where HSE deficiencies are identified and report – use STOP work authority.
    • Attend TBT meetings and ensure jobs risks are properly identified and control.
    • Work closely with the rest of the project team on the assigned location

What are you going to do 

  • Daily:
    • Attend HSE Supervisors Briefing in the morning.
    • Attend location specific TBT in selected areas, based on activities of the day.
    • NOC PTW Procedure: not involved in the PTW review / signatory process but involved in PTW auditing.
    • Ensure adequate HSE coverage and compliance with PTW and supporting documents (inclusive of JSA)
    • Liaise with FOPS & other discipline HSE supervisors on site to address HSE concerns and overall promote HSE best practices.
    • Submit his observations and action taken to Site OIM and OSS team in Doha before evening meeting.
    • Coach CTR HSE Officers & monitor their activity.
    • Conduct HSE tours and observations across all sites.
    • Be an asset for the Site OIM and HSE team by supporting them in “keeping an eye on areas at risk”

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Large experience on similar activities at equivalent position (minimum number of verifiable 10 years)
  • Familiar with offshore construction activities
  • NEBOSH International Certificate or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
  • Offshore SIMOPS experience
  • HSE Trainings: OPITO H2S / T-BOSIET / AGT
