Introduction

Brunel International is seeking a dedicated HR Administration Officer to join our Port Moresby team in Papua New Guinea. This role focuses on managing the end-to-end contractor journey, coordinating global mobility, and executing compliance documentation to ensure seamless onboarding and contractor care.

What are you going to do 

As the HR Administration Officer, you will report directly to the PNG Business Manager and support local team members with day-to-day onboarding and operational requirements. Your key responsibilities include handling reception duties, managing administrative correspondences, arranging PPE safety clothing for contractors, coordinating pre-employment medicals, assisting with payroll and timesheet queries, and supporting contractor mobilization. You will act as the primary point of contact for active contractors by conducting welfare check-ins and resolving daily queries while ensuring strict compliance with government-issued identification, banking details, safety profiling, and local employment regulations.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • Experience in workforce coordination, human resources, talent administration or customer service operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with global contractors and internal account managers.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple administrative timelines simultaneously.
  • Positive and professional telephone manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; training provided for Brunel-specific databases and systems.
