What are you going to do
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Major Projects Strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements, and international best practices.
Provide strategic leadership and guidance throughout FEED, EPC, offshore installation, commissioning, startup, and handover phases, ensuring considerations are effectively integrated into project delivery.
Deploy strategy by translating Major Projects and NFPS objectives into actionable plans and ensuring robust governance reviews, KPI tracking, accountability, and follow-up.
Consolidate and analyze performance across Major Projects and NFPS, providing strategic insights, identifying cross-project risks, and supporting portfolio-level decision-making.
Direct the development and maintenance of performance dashboards, KPIs, executive reporting systems, and governance metrics to support leadership oversight.
Oversee Human Performance, Safety Leadership, and Safety Culture programs to strengthen leadership capability, accountability, decision-making effectiveness, and organizational learning.
Maintain an integrated performance management framework utilizing KPIs, benchmarking, lessons learned, assurance findings, and predictive indicators to drive continuous improvement and support executive decision-making.
Support innovation and digital transformation initiatives by leveraging technology, analytics, data visualization, and emerging best practices to enhance organizational performance.
Provide strategic oversight and assurance of critical risk management programs, including major accident hazards, marine operations, lifting operations, SIMOPS, contractor management, and Life Saving Rules compliance across the project portfolio.
Essential skills and knowledge
Bachelors degree in sciences, safety, health, environment, security, or Engineering
10 years' experience in SHES in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
Knowledge of relevant SHES management systems and programs.
A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
