Are you a recent graduate or about to complete your degree and looking for an opportunity to build a rewarding career in technology? Our client is seeking motivated and innovative Technology Graduates to join our two-year Graduate Program based in Newcastle and onsite in one of their mine sites.

What are you going to do 

This is a unique opportunity to develop your technical capabilities while gaining hands-on experience supporting one of Australia's leading resources businesses. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real business outcomes, and gain exposure to both corporate and operational environments.

As a Technology Graduate, you'll rotate through a range of technology disciplines and gain practical experience across:

  • Software and Data
  • IT infrastructure and Cybersecurity
  • Cloud technologies
  • Business applications and systems support
  • Digital transformation initiatives
  • Technology project delivery and stakeholder engagement

A key component of the program includes spending up to 8 months of the 2-year program onsite at one of the mining operations, providing invaluable exposure to the technologies that underpin modern mining and industrial operations.

Essential skills and knowledge 

To be successful, you will:

  • Have recently completed, or be due to complete, a degree in:
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Science
    • Cybersecurity
    • Software Engineering
    • Information Systems
    • Or a related technology discipline
  • Be based in, or willing to relocate to, New South Wales
  • Be willing to spend approximately 8 months working onsite at a mine operation during the graduate program
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Be eager to learn, adaptable, and capable of working in diverse environments
  • Hold Australian working rights
