Introduction

Brunel International is a leading international oil field services company. We are currently seeking an experienced G&G Support Specialist for a 1 year + contract role in Kuwait. This is a residential role and requires 12+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.

What are you going to do

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine G&G data loading to OpenWorks project database, G&G interpretation workflows such as well correlation, 2D/3D seismic interpretation, seismic attributes analysis, etc., formation evaluation and basic lithology interpretation, building detailed velocity models, DSG and other tools well to seismic tie workflow, integrating GIS data with subsurface data in well planning workflows, G&G data visualization and manipulation;
The ideal candidate should have intermediate to advanced knowledge in different G&G data categories and classes as well as good knowledge of OpenWorks and DSG integrated platforms;
The successful candidate should also have good understanding of Linux and Windows OS, hands-on experience on building detailed Velocity Model, experience in DSG and other tools Well to seismic tie workflow, knowledge of integrating GIS data with Subsurface data in Well Planning workflows, team player skills with good presentation skills and report writing skills.

Essential skills and knowledge

12+ years’ experience in Oil and Gas Industry;
Good knowledge in OpenWorks, DSG integrated platforms;
Intermediate to advanced knowledge in different G&G data categories and classes;
Can perform routine G&G data loading to OpenWorks project database;
Experience of G&G Interpretation workflows like Well Correlation, 2D/3D seismic interpretation, seismic attributes analysis etc;
Fair to Good understanding of Formation Evaluation and basic Lithology Interpretation;
Good Knowledge of Structural modelling including basic static modeling workflow;
Good understanding of Linux and Windows OS;
Hands-on experience on building detailed Velocity Model;
Experience in DSG and other tools Well to seismic tie workflow;
Knowledge of Integrating GIS data with Subsurface data in Well Planning workflows;
G&G data visualization and manipulation;
Team player with good presentation skills;
Report writing skills with good communication skills.
