Introduction

As a Team Lead Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will lead a team responsible for the development of firmware used in advanced driver systems. This is a technical leadership role, where you combine strong architectural insight with team guidance.

What are you going to do 

Ideally, you bring prior experience as a firmware or embedded engineer, enabling you to actively contribute to technical discussions, guide the team in making sound firmware architecture decisions, and provide clear direction on the right path forward.


What will you do?

  • Leading and mentoring a team of embedded firmware engineers.
  • Supporting team members in technical challenges and professional growth.
  • Driving firmware architecture decisions and ensuring long-term quality.
  • Contributing to technical discussions and guiding design choices.
  • Collaborating with international teams (US and Mexico).
  • Improving engineering processes, tooling and development practices.

Essential skills and knowledge 

You are proactive, solution-oriented, and thrive in a less structured, fast-moving environment. You enjoy taking ownership, collaborating across teams, and translating complex technical requirements into practical solutions. Additionally, you have:

  • Proven experience in embedded firmware development.
  • Experience or strong affinity with technical leadership or mentoring.
  • Experience with firmware architecture in embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with production-grade development cycles.

  • A gross monthly salary of up to €7.500,- on the basis of a 40h workweek (excluding 8% holiday allowance), depending on experience.
