What are you going to do

Interpret and work from complex technical drawings (General Arrangements (GAs), P&IDs, and Isometric diagrams.)
Fabricate, assemble, and test piping systems and structural components for water treatment plants.
Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing to ensure piping integrity.
Skilfully use hand tools, pipe cutters, and solvent welding techniques.
Work to high standards of quality and safety in a workshop environment.

Essential skills and knowledge

Strong experience in a similar fabrication role
Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Boilermaker, Fabricator, Mechanical Fitter)
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Experienced in hydrostatic and pneumatic testing methods
Skilled in using hand tools and pipe cutting equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
