What are you going to do

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and inspect explosion-proof electrical equipment and instrumentation in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Perform routine checks and testing on EX-certified devices to ensure proper functionality.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to explosion-proof systems and carry out timely repairs.
Collaborate with project engineers and safety teams to implement best practices for hazardous area safety.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities and safety compliance.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines on-site.

Essential skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

Certificate or diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
Proven experience working with explosion-proof electrical equipment in oil and gas or related industries.
Strong knowledge of hazardous area classifications and relevant standards (e.g., ATEX, IECEx).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to safety and teamwork.
