Introduction

What are you going to do 

This is a key position within the regional operation, responsible for planning and coordinating surveying activities throughout construction. You'll have the opportunity to work across varied projects while being trusted to manage the surveying function on the ground.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the surveying requirements across a range of local civil projects
  • Complete site measurements, calculations and quality checks
  • Manage survey data and maintain accurate project records
  • Coordinate with engineers, supervisors and project managers throughout project delivery
  • Plan upcoming survey requirements around construction programs
  • Operate modern survey equipment and software
  • Contribute to the delivery of new projects as the regional pipeline grows

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven surveying experience across civil construction
  • Strong capability across set-out, measurements, calculations and survey data
  • Experience with Trimble, GPS, AutoCAD and 12D
  • Able to work effectively with engineers, supervisors and project teams
  • Strong technical judgement and a practical approach to problem solving
