What are you going to do

You work on low-level software that runs directly on hardware and ensures stable and predictable system behavior. Together with hardware engineers, you analyze system behavior, solve technical challenges, and improve performance.

Developing firmware and drivers that communicate directly with microcontrollers and peripheral devices.
Controlling and reading sensors, motors, and switches with a strong focus on timing and reliability.
Analyzing and debugging at chip level using measurement equipment such as an oscilloscope.
Optimizing code for efficient memory usage and processing performance.

Essential skills and knowledge

You work in a structured way and have a strong attention to detail. You collaborate smoothly with colleagues from different disciplines and translate technical insights into practical solutions.

Completed MBO/HBO/WO degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
Experience with embedded software development in C and/or C++.
Experience with RTOS (such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr) and/or bare-metal development.
Knowledge of microcontrollers, preferably ARM Cortex-M.
Proficiency in both Dutch and English.

Gross monthly salary up to €5,500, depending on knowledge and experience.
