What are you going to do 

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a key Defence project on Garden Island.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role, starting on a temporary basis with strong potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering project outcomes by leading site teams and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting project planning activities, including reviewing specifications, identifying resource needs, and contributing to risk assessments
  • Supervising and coordinating daily crew operations to meet project timelines
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues early, and implementing effective solutions
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Providing leadership, direction, and ongoing support to site teams
  • Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards

Essential skills and knowledge 

To be successful in this role, you will bring solid supervisory experience within electrical projects, ideally within a defence environment.

  • WA Electrical Workers Licence
  • Construction White Card (CPCWHS1001)
  • Current LVR / CPR
  • First Aid Certification
  • OHS Supervisor training (or equivalent)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
  • Candidate must have full Australian working rights
