Introduction

Brunel International is a leading global engineering and project management services provider. We are looking for an experienced MPLS Network Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the implementation of the MPLS Network contract.

What are you going to do 

As a MPLS Network Team Leader you are familiar with multi-tier computer network implementation and upgrades in an operational environment;

The main goal is to manage and control the activities of the MPLS Network contractor:

  • Manage the performance of the contractor; identify technical discrepancies, interfaces with related works; packages, monitor progress and verify compliance with the contract;
  • Review submittals and coordinate activities of the contractor;
  • Update plans and report on progress;
  • Work together with technical manager and Civil works and Building services team and manage communication with stakeholders.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer / Communication Engineering from an accredited University;
  • Professional Engineering registration or tertiary qualification in Computer Network technology;
  • Minimum Cisco CCNP R&S certification is required with strong MPLS knowledge;
  • Hands on at least 12 years’ experience in execution and supervision of wide area networks, of which at least 3 in international projects;
  • Experience in interfacing Air Traffic Management and Meteorological systems;
  • Good proactive communicator, fluent in English (written and verbal). Knowledge of Arabic desirable but not essential.
