Introduction

On behalf of our client, a High-Profile Top Tier Company within the Resources sector, Brunel is presently sourcing a Contracts Specialist. This will be casual contract located in the Perth CBD.

What are you going to do 

You wll be responsible for all commercial processes required for the successful tender, negotiation and award of various equipment supply and construction contracts.

Commercial Management of Awarded Contracts including:

  • Project correspondence
  • Payment claim assessment and approval
  • Review and approval of variation orders
  • Facilitating and recording of weekly progress meetings
  • Coordinating with the project team to assess and respond to EOT claims
  • Assisting with the drafting and issuing of progress reports

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering OR similar is preferred
  • Extensive experience in Mining / Oil & Gas / Infrastructure major projects
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite - Excel and Word
  • Previous experience in PIMS will be advantageous, but is not essential
  • Strong commercial acumen, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
