Brunel is hiring a Contracts Advisor to work with a major oil and gas client in Spring, TX on a long term contract.

What are you going to do

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement project contracting strategies and Contracting Plans
Manage contractor qualification, bid slates, and tender processes
Prepare and issue Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages * Serve as focal point for contractor communications and bid clarifications
Support commercial evaluation, negotiations, and contract award recommendations
Finalize contract documents and obtain required internal approvals
Support contract administration activities post-award, including kick-off meetings
Manage contract change control, invoicing, and compliance with contract terms
Review contractor and subcontractor plans for compliance with company requirements
Monitor contractor performance and support issue resolution
Support contract close-out and settlement of outstanding items

Essential skills and knowledge

Qualifications

Experience in contracts engineering, contract administration, or related roles
Experience with EPC contracts, tendering, and commercial negotiations
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
Understanding of project execution and contracting principles
