Introduction

What are you going to do 

Commercial Construction Contracts Administrators are responsible for supporting the successful commercial and contractual delivery of construction projects, working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, subcontractors and clients.

  • Manage subcontractor procurement, scopes, contracts and variations.
  • Prepare and manage progress claims, payments and cost reporting.
  • Track project costs, budgets, variations and financial performance.
  • Assist with tendering, contract negotiations and subcontractor engagement.
  • Manage RFIs, notices, extensions of time and contractual correspondence.
  • Review subcontractor claims and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Maintain project documentation and commercial records.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to manage commercial risks and project outcomes.
  • Support project close-out, final accounts and defects.

Essential skills and knowledge 

To be considered for one of these positions you MUST have:

  • Must have Australian experience working for a head contractor.
  • Must have experience across commercial construction projects.
  • Proven experience working as a Contracts Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, variations, claims and project costs.
  • Ability to work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and site teams.
  • Strong commercial, communication and organisational skills.
