This is a Brisbane-based opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to take on a key role supporting growth, commercial performance and operational improvement across a diverse national Industries business.
Reporting to the General Manager, the role will provide commercial leadership across contract management, margin optimisation, financial performance, business planning, reporting and governance. With acquisitions ongoing, the position will also play an important role in supporting acquisition activity, integration planning and commercial oversight of newly acquired businesses.
This is a broad and influential position suited to someone who can combine strong financial and commercial acumen with practical contract management capability, stakeholder engagement and the ability to support strategic growth initiatives.

As Commercial Manager, you will support the General Manager and broader leadership team in driving commercial performance across the Industries portfolio. The role will focus on ensuring business activities deliver sustainable margin, strong return on investment and effective commercial governance.
You will work closely with operational leaders, Finance and senior stakeholders to analyse performance, support budgeting and forecasting, improve contract quality, review commercial risks and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational outcomes.
A key part of the role will also involve supporting growth activity, including acquisition pipeline support, commercial and operational due diligence, integration planning and post-acquisition value realisation. Duties include:
You will be an experienced commercial, finance or business operations professional with a strong background in financial management, contract performance, commercial analysis and stakeholder engagement.
You will ideally bring experience across a multi-business or portfolio environment, with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. Exposure to acquisitions, due diligence or integration activity will be highly regarded.
You will be confident working with senior leaders, comfortable interpreting financial and commercial data, and capable of turning analysis into clear recommendations that support business performance. Skills and experience required:
