Introduction

Brunel is supporting a major defence aviation program delivering a new airborne surveillance capability in Adelaide. This is a long-term, nationally significant project, and we're looking for a LAME (B2) to join the team at an exciting stage of growth. You'll be working on a brand-new ISR fleet, providing base maintenance and support in a modern facility built specifically for this program.

What are you going to do

This role covers the full spectrum of base and line maintenance on missionised fixed-wing aircraft. You'll be responsible for fault-finding and rectification of complex avionics systems, working alongside operations and engineering teams to ensure availability and compliance. As part of your development, you'll also travel to the United States twice a year for OEM-led technical training - all fully funded.

Essential skills and knowledge

To be considered, you must hold a current CASA B2 LAME licence and an NV1 security clearance. You'll ideally have experience working on defence or special mission aircraft, strong diagnostic skills, and a proactive, safety-first approach. This is a hands-on, highly technical role that requires accuracy, reliability, and a strong team mindset.

What we offer

This opportunity offers a great salary, genuine career progression, and the chance to be part of a long-term, nationally significant program. You'll also benefit from twice-yearly, fully funded trips to the United States for specialist OEM training, giving you access to world-class development and exposure to global best practice.
