Wil jij automatisering slimmer en veiliger maken? Als Automation Engineer beheer je DCS-, PLC- en SCADA-systemen binnen een duurzame organisatie. Je schakelt met productie, ICT en leveranciers en borgt continuïteit én cybersecurity van industriële netwerken.

What are you going to do 

  • Je beheert en optimaliseert de productieautomatiseringssystemen en bijbehorende netwerken.
  • Je borgt de cybersecurity van de OT-omgeving met firewalls, VLAN's, antivirussoftware en remote access oplossingen.
  • Je analyseert systemen en voert verbeteringen door ter ondersteuning van efficiënte, veilige processen.
  • Je werkt projectmatig aan de integratie van nieuwe automatiseringsoplossingen binnen de bestaande infrastructuur.
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte en veilige overdracht van data van de procesautomatisering naar kantoorautomatisering.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Je hebt oog voor detail, schakelt snel tussen stakeholders en denkt oplossingsgericht. Daarnaast ben je communicatief sterk en in staat om technische wensen te vertalen naar praktische oplossingen.

  • Een afgeronde mbo 4-opleiding in industriële automatisering of vergelijkbaar, met hbo werk- en denkniveau.
  • Ruime ervaring als Automation Engineer of vergelijkbare functie in de industriële automatisering.
  • Kennis van DCS- en PLC-systemen (bijv. Siemens S7), SCADA-software en koppelingen.
  • Ervaring met netwerktopologie, firewalls, switches, servers en virtuele omgevingen.
  • Bekendheid met protocollen zoals OPC, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus en glasvezelnetwerken.

Meeting in Real Life

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth  interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
