What are you going to do 

  • Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor

  • Design and develop advanced assembly and packaging concepts for industrial fiber optic products, SiPM (Silicon Photomultiplier) sensors, and Time of Flight (TOF) sensor packaging

  • Perform optomechanical integration by creating complex 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for optical sub-assemblies, sensors, and final products

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by preparing preliminary drawings and technical documentation

  • Update and revise existing drawings in accordance with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

  • Maintain accurate and well-organized drawing databases in compliance with ISO documentation standards

  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure drawings meet design, manufacturing, and quality requirements

  • Provide drafting and design support during production and engineering reviews

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the semiconductor industry

  • Experience in fiber optics or optical communication is an advantage

  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor 2026 and AutoCAD 2026

  • Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ISO/ASME standards

  • Familiar with NPI and production processes, including Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO)

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Able to work independently and meet tight production timelines
