Introduction

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated Analyst to support the effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Papua Project. The Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, providing strategic insights, and supporting cross-functional teams in driving impactful development initiatives across Papua.

What are you going to do 

  • Conduct data collection, field assessments, and stakeholder interviews to support project activities.
  • Analyze socio-economic, environmental, or governance-related data (depending on project focus).
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor project performance indicators and support regular reporting to donors or stakeholders.
  • Assist in designing project strategies, policies, or interventions based on data and community needs.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective implementation.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, or related field. Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in project analysis, development work, policy research, or monitoring & evaluation.
  • Experience working in Papua or Eastern Indonesia is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Stata, or Power BI).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Culturally sensitive, with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
