About this role

You'll work within a high-impact data and analytics team focused on improving reporting, data quality and operational decision-making through AI. A key part of this role is fine-tuning and optimising AI models, and integrating them into a modern cloud data platform built on Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and fine-tune LLM and AI solutions

  • Build AI-driven workflows that enhance reporting and data processes

  • Develop and maintain Python-based data and AI pipelines

  • Write and optimise SQL on Snowflake

  • Work with large, complex datasets to improve data quality and accessibility

  • Collaborate with data, analytics and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities

  • Contribute to best practices for AI governance, reliability and scalability

Is this you?

What We're Looking For

  • Strong Python development experience
  • Hands-on experience working with LLMs / Generative AI
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with Snowflake
  • Experience building or fine-tuning AI/ML models in production environments

Ideal Experience

  • Background as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer or AI Engineer
  • Experience deploying AI solutions into cloud environments
  • Exposure to MLOps, prompt engineering or model optimisation
  • Experience working with reporting, analytics or enterprise data platforms
  • Experience in the mining or resources sector is highly regarded
