About this role
Monitor CONTRACTOR construction performance
Implementation of the Construction Surveillance Program for subsea operation and installation to confirm that construction activities are compliant to related approved specifications and procedures; work procedure, QHSE documents etc.
Assist PMT with planning, procedure review and technical support of matters involving lifting, subsea installation and ROV operation, participating in the development of all work documents to ensure that all parties have a clear understanding of subsea installation activities
Acts as the focal point between the operator and the contractor particularly for offshore SIMOPS and PTW interface, and be trained and qualified as COMPANY host for endorsing PTW
Stewards in the management of change process and is the Company point of contact on the worksite for all site queries. / MOC
Be the accountable person for the safety, health, environment and security for all aspects of the execution of the work scope on the offshore vessels.
Participate in root cause investigation and incident investigation for offshore installation activities; pipelay, lifting, beachpull and etc
Oversee contractor worksite requirement on documentation and reporting.
Undertakes daily walk-through observations of operational areas, to check on progress, safety and housekeeping.
Ensures that any events evaluated during Risk assessment processes, or that are raised during safety meetings, are stewarded and closed prior to the start of each critical scope.
Is this you?
Completion of Secondary School Education (12 years)
Minimum 8 years’ experience in offshore construction industry with broad experience in subsea installation, cable lay and ROV operations.
Extensive experience in supervision of subsea installation and cable lay.
Worldwide experience with Contractors, particularly those involved in the construction of offshore facilities.
Up to date knowledge on industry subsea installation and repair techniques.
Good experience with Cable / Umbilical lay installation from DP2 DSV / CSV
Broad knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with offshore greenfield and brownfield modifications and working within a gas production facility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in spoken and written English
Good coordination, influencing and interface skills
