Introduction

On behalf of our client, a Tier 1 Mining Company, Brunel is presently recruiting a Senior Planner - HME Decarbonisation Assets to support the delivery of major Decarbonisation and Asset transformation initiatives. This will be a contract role up to June 2027 located in the Perth CBD.

About this role

You will develop, maintain and optimise integrated project schedules supporting HME (Heavy Mobile Enquipment) battery electric assets, cable electric assets and associated equipment. Working closely with Project, Engineering, Asset Management and OEM stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery.

  • Develop and maintain integrated master and detailed project schedules
  • Perform resource loading, critical path and what-if analysis
  • Maintain schedule integrity and planning compliance
  • Conduct schedule health checks and optimisation activities
  • Apply Earned Value Management and analyse CPI/SPI trends
  • Integrate contractor schedules into master programs
  • Monitor project performance and schedule trends
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Support risk reviews, change management and capital planning
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery

Is this you?

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering OR a related discipline is desirable
  • Certification in Project Controls will be advantageous
  • Extensive Project Planning experience
  • Previous Client-side experience across the full project lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of project controls and planning principles
  • Advanced Primavera P6 skills
  • Experience in Power BI and MS Office Suite
  • Strong schedule analysis and reporting capability
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
