Introduction

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing insurance builder based on Brisbane's north side.

This is a key role responsible for overseeing projects from planning through to successful completion, working closely with internal teams, clients, contractors and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

About this role

Reporting to senior management, you will take responsibility for the end-to-end management of multiple projects, ensuring a high level of communication, coordination and project delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects from initial planning through to completion
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets and delivery plans
  • Coordinating internal teams, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Monitoring project progress, costs, quality and timelines
  • Identifying and managing project risks, issues and variations
  • Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with relevant standards, requirements and procedures
  • Providing regular project updates and reporting to management
  • Managing documentation, project records and contractual requirements
  • Supporting continuous improvement across project delivery processes

Is this you?

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a Project Management role - particularly within the insurance sector
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Confidence working with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of project budgets, schedules and risk management
  • Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded
