Introduction
We’re hiring Project Engineering Manager for one of our Leading MNC in Oil & Gas to join
their growing team. This position is based out in Mumbai.

Position: Project Engineering Manager;
YOE: Min 15 Years;
Contract: Permanent Role;
Location: Mumbai.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee engineering projects in the upstream oil and gas sector, including fixed platform topside and FPSO projects;
Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical professionals, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle;
Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and ensure adherence to project milestones and deliverables;
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues or risks, and take necessary corrective actions to ensure project objectives are met;
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to establish project requirements, specifications, and technical standards;
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices;
Conduct regular project meetings, prepare progress reports, and present updates to stakeholders, including senior management and clients;
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines throughout the project lifecycle;
Manage project contracts, including the review and approval of change orders and variations;
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.
Is this you?
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus;
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, with a focus on fixed platform topside and FPSO projects;
Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from initiation to completion;
Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles and practices related to offshore oil and gas installations;
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and mitigate risks;
Proficient in project management software and tools;
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the aptitude to motivate and guide a diverse group of professionals;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders;
Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations;
PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
