About this role

We're partnering with a leading global technology and engineering business delivering mission-critical data centre projects across Australia. With a strong pipeline of hyperscale and colocation work, they're looking for a Project Manager who's comfortable on the tools of delivery - and comfortable on site.

This is a hands-on delivery role, You'll own project outcomes from planning through to commissioning and handover, working alongside site teams, subcontractors and the client daily.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of data centre projects - scope, program, budget and quality
  • Spending time on site: leading progress walks, coordinating trades and keeping delivery on program
  • Driving safety leadership and ensuring compliance with WHS requirements on live and construction sites
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement, scope packages and variations
  • Reporting on cost, program and risk to internal stakeholders and the client
  • Coordinating with design, engineering and commissioning teams through to practical completion and handover

Is this you?

  • Demonstrated site exposure on construction or mission-critical projects
  • Proven project management experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, electrical or major infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial acumen: budgets, forecasting, contract and variation management
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • White Card and full Australian working rights
  • Excellent stakeholder management - able to hold your own with client, site and design teams
