About this role

The Procurement Specialist will oversee procurement activities across the project, supporting the strategic sourcing of materials and services while ensuring cost-effective, compliant and timely delivery outcomes.

You will work closely with project and site teams to manage supplier relationships, support procurement reporting and ensure supply chain activities align with project delivery requirements.

  • Manage procurement activities across project operations
  • Source materials, equipment and services to support project delivery
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships
  • Conduct supply chain risk assessments and support mitigation strategies
  • Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely supply of resources
  • Prepare procurement reports, supplier comparisons and commercial analysis
  • Support tendering, supplier evaluation and procurement compliance activities
  • Ensure procurement processes align with project standards and governance requirements
  • Work closely with project, commercial and operational teams to support delivery objectives
  • Monitor supplier performance, quality and delivery outcomes

Is this you?

  • Previous experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Purchasing within construction, infrastructure, mining, energy or heavy industry
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management
  • Experience supporting large-scale project environments highly regarded
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
  • Proficiency across procurement systems and reporting tools

This role will be based within the Snowy Mountains region of NSW operating on a 2:1 roster, with flights, accommodation and meal allowance provided.
