About this role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Outage Scheduler to support a major power generation outage at Pinjar Power Station. Working as part of the outage team, you will play a critical role in developing, managing, and optimising the outage schedule from planning through to execution and close-out.

This position will suit a scheduler with strong shutdown/outage experience who thrives in fast-paced project environments and enjoys working closely with operations, maintenance teams, and contractors to deliver successful outage outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain the master outage schedule from planning through to project completion.
  • Coordinate and integrate work scopes, contractor schedules, and resource requirements into a single project schedule.
  • Monitor outage progress, update schedules, and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Identify schedule risks, critical path impacts, and opportunities to improve project efficiency.
  • Work closely with outage teams, contractors, and site leadership to support successful outage delivery.
  • Contribute to project close-out activities, including schedule analysis and lessons learned.

Is this you?

  • Site-based position during execution phase at Pinjar Power Station
  • Previous experience as a Scheduler on power generation, shutdown, outage, maintenance, or heavy industrial projects
  • Strong scheduling experience using Microsoft Project (preferred)
  • Ability to analyse critical path activities and identify schedule risks
  • Experience coordinating multiple contractors and work fronts during execution
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and schedule optimisation
