About this role

As a Laboratory Professional, you will support laboratory operations, testing activities, and research programs within a highly innovative environment. You will work with specialised equipment, analytical tools, and experimental systems while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and accuracy.

  • Conduct laboratory testing, measurements, and experimental activities.
  • Operate and monitor specialised testing equipment and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Assemble, disassemble, inspect, and maintain test components and equipment.
  • Prepare chemicals, reagents, samples, and materials for testing programs.
  • Assist with sample analysis and materials characterisation activities.
  • Support analytical techniques including XRD, SEM, and related laboratory methods.
  • Accurately record, monitor, and document experimental results.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas to a high standard.
  • Follow laboratory procedures, operating instructions, and safety requirements.
  • Contribute to ongoing research and development initiatives within a multidisciplinary team.

To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated and hands-on individual who enjoys working in a laboratory or technical environment and is keen to learn new skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Laboratory, analytical, metallurgical, research, or technical experience desirable.
  • Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience operating equipment, instruments, or testing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
