Our Tier 1 mining client is currenty looking for a Belt Technician for an FIFO role based at Anderson Point
Details:
- Location - Anderson Point, WA
- Roster - 8:6, 7:7 with a mix of days and nights
- Pay rates - $65/hour upwards + super, based on previous experience
About this role
Duties:
- Conduct routine conveyor inspections and identify defects, hazards, and improvement opportunities.
- Inspect, replace, and maintain conveyor rollers, idlers, belts, and associated components.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyor systems.
- Identify, report, and rectify equipment defects in accordance with site procedures.
Is this you?
- Experience maintaining conveyor systems within mining, processing, manufacturing, or bulk materials handling environments.
- Knowledge of conveyor components including rollers, idlers, pulleys, belts, and transfer points.
- Ability to conduct equipment inspections and identify potential failures.
- Experience with asset management and maintenance management systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong commitment to safety and risk management.
- Current driving licence
