Introduction

Starting immediately, on behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced Electrician for an Ore Car Wheelshop Maintenance role on a 2/2 roster (7 days / 7 nights / 14 off). This is a 6-month assignment offering $75/hr plus super negotiable, depending on experience.

About this role

  • Maintain and Operate equipment in semi-automated wheel processing facility
  • Scheduled and breakdown maintenance
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on machinery and equipment
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
  • Working in a team of 4
  • Operating forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Utilising SAP to record maintenance activities
  • Adhering to industry standards and site safety regulations

Is this you?

What you need

  • WA Electrical License (unrestricted)
  • Experience with the following equipment highly regarded (Hegensheidt 165 Portal Lathe, Wheel boring machines, Axle lathe, Wheel press / demount machines, bearing press demount machines, automated Gudel gantry cranes)
  • In date First Aid, CPR and LVR certificates
  • High Risk License - LF, DG, EWP
  • 5 years minimum mining or heavy industry experience
  • Fixed plant experience preferable over mobile experience
  • Experience and competent in the use of overhead cranes up to 15t
  • Experience and competent in the use of forklifts upto 16T
  • Valid C Class Drivers License
  • Must be able to pass a Rail Cat 2 medical & provide a National Police Check
