Introduction

Our client is an Engineering company delivering specialist Design & Construct solutions to the mining sector. They partner with major miners and EPCM providers to deliver processing plant upgrades, Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), and sustaining capital works.

They are seeking a commercially minded Contracts Administrator to support contract review, administration, commercial governance, and project delivery outcomes.

About this role

  • Reviewing, interpreting, and administering client, subcontractor, and supplier contracts
  • Supporting contract departures, clarifications, amendments, and negotiation preparation
  • Identifying legal, commercial, and contractual risks and recommending mitigation strategies
  • Assisting with tender and pre-contract documentation, including terms and conditions, scope alignment, and commercial compliance
  • Supporting management of contract correspondence, notices, variations, claims, and extensions of time
  • Working with project delivery teams to ensure contractual obligations are understood and managed
  • Maintaining accurate contract registers, commercial records, and supporting documentation
  • Supporting subcontractor engagement, contract formation, and ongoing administration
  • Assisting with review of pricing, scope, schedule, and delivery obligations from a commercial risk perspective
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and external legal advisers
  • Contributing to improved commercial processes, governance, and contract management practices

Is this you?

  • Experience in contracts administration, commercial administration, legal contracts support, or a similar role
  • Strong legal experience, including contract review, contract drafting support, risk identification, and commercial negotiation support
  • Previous exposure to engineering, construction, resources, mining, infrastructure, or project delivery environments
  • Ability to interpret contract terms, scope documents, schedules, commercial clauses, and project obligations
  • Experience with D&C, EPC, EPCM, or sustaining capital project environments
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Commerce, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline (desirable)
