HSE Document Writer

As the HSE Technical Writer, you will support a key documentation alignment project, helping to ensure HSE procedures, processes and control documents are clear, consistent, practical and fit for purpose.

You will be responsible for reviewing existing HSE document repositories, conducting gap analysis, engaging with subject matter experts, and producing updated documentation that supports operational implementation and training requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review existing HSE document repositories, project control documents and process documentation.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify inconsistencies, duplication, missing information and areas requiring alignment.
• Rewrite, update and align HSE process documents in line with integration requirements.
• Work closely with technical working groups and subject matter experts to validate technical content.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, practical and easy to understand.
• Liaise with training teams to ensure updated documentation supports training, implementation and user understanding.
• Support the development of clear, consistent and fit-for-purpose HSE procedures, processes and control documents.
• Engage with key stakeholders across HSE, operations, technical teams and training.
• Maintain strong document control, version control and governance practices throughout the review and update process.
• Use systems such as SharePoint to manage, review and update documentation repositories.
• Support project tracking, planning and reporting activities.
• Ensure all documentation is written in a clear, structured and user-friendly format.
