As an Electrical Engineer, you design the electrical backbone of complex high-tech machines. You create electrical schematics, cabinet layouts and documentation in EPLAN P8 and support your designs from concept to troubleshooting. You work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and have room to further develop your technical expertise.

Functieomschrijving

As an Electrical Engineer, you will work on the electrical design of complex high-tech machines in the Eindhoven region. Your focus is on translating system requirements into electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, BoM lists and complete technical documentation using EPLAN P8.

You work closely with electrical architects, designers and suppliers, as well as engineers from mechanics, mechatronics and software. In addition to design engineering, you stay connected to the practical side through reviews, troubleshooting and technical support.

What will you do?

  • Create and maintain electrical schematics, BoM lists, cabinet layouts and product documentation in EPLAN P8.
  • Translate electrical specifications and requirements into reliable designs for complex machine systems.
  • Review electrical designs and contribute to design improvements, standards and engineering procedures.
  • Support 3D cable routing, technical reviews, troubleshooting and questions from service and technical support teams.

Vereisten

You are an analytical and practical Electrical Engineer who enjoys solving complex electrical design challenges. You can take ownership of your designs while working closely with engineers from different disciplines. You combine attention to detail with a hands-on approach and can translate technical requirements into solutions that work in practice.

In addition, you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
  • Several years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and electrical machine design.
  • Strong experience with EPLAN P8 or comparable electrical engineering software, combined with experience in EPLAN.
  • Knowledge of machine controls and electrical standards and regulations.
  • Professional proficiency in English and preferably Dutch.
  • Living within 50 km of Eindhoven.
