Introductie

As an EMC & Interference Engineer at NXP, you are responsible for the full lifecycle of electromagnetic simulation and interference analysis for complex IC modules and systems.

Functieomschrijving

As an EMC & Interference Engineer, you will work on the development and application of electromagnetic simulations within complex IC, package, and PCB systems. You will analyze and predict electromagnetic interference and actively contribute to improving design strategies for future products. Operating at the intersection of simulation, system integration, and design optimization, you will collaborate closely with international design teams and EDA vendors.

  • Perform electromagnetic simulations to assess radiated and conducted emissions of ICs, packages, PCBs, and systems.
  • Provide design teams with actionable recommendations to reduce electromagnetic interference.
  • Develop and improve simulation flows and methodologies using industry-standard EDA tools.
  • Collaborate with validation teams to correlate simulation results with real-world measurements.

Vereisten

You are analytical, communicative, and enjoy working in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment. You're proactive in solving technical challenges and can translate complex simulation data into practical design guidance.

In addition, you have:

  • At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
  • You are either a recent graduate or have a few years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, Cadence Clarity, EMX), and familiarity with the Cadence Virtuoso design environment.
  • Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, or Perl is a plus.
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written. Dutch language is a plus.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

You'll be working in a high-tech, international environment at the forefront of innovation in semiconductor design.

You can count on:

  • A gross monthly salary of €3,600 - €4,100 (excluding 8% holiday allowance), depending on experience.
  • Performance-based bonuses (where applicable).
  • Additional benefits such as travel allowance, an NS Business Card, and a laptop and mobile phone if required.
  • 26 vacation days, with the possibility to extend up to 40 days.
  • Flexible and hybrid working, with the freedom to work from home or at the office.
  • Extensive training and development opportunities, including access to the Brunel Academy.
  • A solid pension scheme and collective health insurance.
  • Discounts on gyms, cultural activities, and various vitality programs.
