About this role

As the Water Networks Efficiency Expert, you'll partner with water utilities to deliver technical advisory services across water and wastewater networks. You'll support clients with network optimisation, strategic planning and operational improvements while working alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, evidence-based solutions.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Partnering with water utilities to improve network performance and operational efficiency.
  • Providing technical advice across water supply and wastewater networks.
  • Supporting master planning, feasibility studies and options analysis.
  • Delivering network optimisation initiatives, including Non-Revenue Water (NRW), leakage management, inflow and infiltration (I&I), water quality and metering performance.
  • Preparing technical reports, cost estimates and investment recommendations.
  • Facilitating workshops and working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Supporting clients with operational improvements and long-term asset planning.

Is this you?

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience within water or wastewater network operations, optimisation or engineering consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of network performance, asset management and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working with water utilities, asset owners, local government or EPC contractors.
  • Expertise in areas such as NRW, leakage management, I&I, water quality or metering performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • The ability to translate technical challenges into practical, client-focused solutions.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally as required.
