About this role

We are partnering with our client in the oil and gas sector to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to play a pivotal role in their onshore operations in Dubai. As part of our client's team, you will lead day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring materials are received, stored, transported, and issued efficiently and safely, while driving continuous improvement and maintaining strong employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, transportation, issuance, inventory audits, and material recovery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, supervise warehouse personnel, and ensure effective support to onshore operations while promoting strong employee relations and compliance with warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all received goods comply with quality control, documentation, and traceability standards, meeting the requirements outlined in the Purchase Order (PO).
  • Generate reports for any non-conformities and discrepancies identified during the material receiving Work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve these discrepancies promptly.
  • Provide guidance and support regarding the handling, packing, protection, and storage conditions for all goods stored in warehouse.
  • Promote and facilitate the use of repaired, returned, or surplus items, ensuring their visibility in the inventory planning process.
  • Coordinate the Material Master creation with Jebel Ali Operations Support Base (JAOSB) Catalogue Team.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of physical stock records by conducting regular cyclical counts and inspections against financial records.
  • Ensure close communication with and support the JAOSB as needed to leverage synergies, sharing improvements and ideas to enhance the warehouse further.
  • Supervise third-party logistics providers, transport contractors, and warehouse service personnel.
  • Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions within the Oracle system.
  • Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and inventory optimization of critical
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with Health, Safety and Environment & Operational Integrity (HSEOI) standards and company safety procedures.

Is this you?

Educational Qualifications

  • Secondary School Certificate (12 years of education).
  • Additional 3 years of technical or administrative training.

Experience Profile

  • 10 years of experience in materials management, including warehousing, inventory control, and procurement.
  • 5 years in a supervisory role with performance management responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry materials.
  • Experience in report preparation, data analysis, and statistical reporting.

Information Security

  • Comply with Company Information Security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Report information security incidents promptly.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information assets.

Competencies / Skills

  • Strong knowledge of production and maintenance materials for onshore and offshore oil & gas operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
  • Strong English communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven supervisory and team-building capabilities in multicultural environments.
  • Collaborative team player with a results-oriented approach.
