Structural Topsides Lead Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation in the oil and gas sector, is looking to appoint a Structural Topsides Lead Engineer to join our client's team on a permanent basis in Bangalore. This is a senior leadership role, driving structural engineering for topside platforms and offshore/FPSO projects, and providing technical direction and mentoring to a highly skilled engineering team.

Key Skills & Experience

• Topside platform engineering (mandatory) - Proven experience in designing and analysing topside structures, ensuring integrity, safety, and compliance with industry standards for complex offshore installations.
• Offshore/FPSO structural experience (mandatory) - Strong background working on offshore and FPSO projects, with the ability to manage structural challenges specific to floating production systems and harsh marine environments.
• Leadership in structural engineering - 12+ years of experience, including leading projects and teams, taking ownership of structural design decisions, and coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Qualifications
• Academic Bachelor - A Bachelor-level academic background, providing a solid theoretical foundation in engineering principles relevant to complex structural design in the oil and gas sector.
• More than 10 years' experience - Extensive professional experience that demonstrates deep technical expertise and the ability to lead major topsides and offshore/FPSO projects.
