Introduction

Brunel International is seeking an experienced Senior Document Writer (Operational Readiness) to support our PNG team remotely. This role will lead the development of Planned Repair Tasks (PRTs) for new assets within a major gold project, working closely with maintenance and operational stakeholders to deliver high-quality readiness documentation.

About this role

As the Senior Document Writer, you will be responsible for converting Preventive Maintenance (PM) strategies into clear, accurate, and field-ready work instructions within the Pronto system. Each PRT you develop will accurately reflect failure modes and monitoring points identified in the underlying PM strategy, ensuring execution crews have reliable, complete instructions from the first time each PM runs.

Your role will involve leading the senior document writing process based on PM input sheets imported into Pronto, advising on templates and upload procedures, and maintaining PRT development progress against the tracking matrix. You will collaborate closely with onsite technical specialists to ensure documents represent real field conditions, review and approve documents created by others for quality and consistency, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will manage the sign-off and filing of equipment information from OEMs and Project Teams and handle other document-related tasks during the project phase.

  • Guarantee every new PM developed has an associated PRT attached before go-live.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all PRT documentation.
  • Manage sign-off and filing of all acquired equipment information from OEMs and Project Teams on behalf of the Technical Specialist - Planning and Reliability.
