Introduction

For a major industrial project, we are looking for an experienced Commissioning Lead (m/f/d) to support the successful delivery of commissioning activities for complex electrical systems. In this role, you will take a leading position in coordinating and executing commissioning, energization, and start-up activities across the project lifecycle. The position requires regular travel between The Hague (Netherlands) and Büttel (Germany), offering the opportunity to work in an international and dynamic project environment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.

About this role

  • Support the Commissioning Manager in the planning and execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and final plant handover
  • Take responsibility for the commissioning and energization of HV, MV, and LV electrical systems, including the development of testing and commissioning procedures
  • Coordinate commissioning activities across multiple disciplines, including Buildings, HVAC, and E&I, while managing interfaces with clients, contractors, vendors, and authorities
  • Lead and support commissioning teams, ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, and project requirements
  • Contribute to system completion, documentation, and handover processes, driving a safe and efficient project delivery on schedule and within quality standards

Is this you?

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable discipline
  • Experience on at least three large-scale industrial projects (e.g., Energy, Power Generation, Chemical, or Oil & Gas sectors)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with High-, Medium-, and Low-Voltage systems (HV/MV/LV)
  • Proven experience in: Commissioning, Energization, Test Management, Interface Management
  • Fluent English skills; German language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to work on construction sites and travel internationally as required (between Den Haag [NL] and Büttel [GER])
