We are representing an established drilling contractor seeking an experienced, proactive and field-focused safety professional to support DR330 drill rig operations and associated mobile equipment. Working on a 2:2 roster, you will play a key role in promoting safe work practices, supporting frontline crews, maintaining compliance and driving efficient drilling operations in a remote mining environment.
As Safety Officer, you will work closely with Drillers, Offsiders, Supervisors, client representatives, and site HSE teams to promote a positive safety culture across field-based drilling crews.
You will provide day-to-day safety support, coach frontline teams, assist with risk assessments, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with company standards, client procedures, and Western Australian legislative requirements.
This role will suit someone who enjoys being visible in the field, building strong relationships with crews, and driving practical safety outcomes in a hands-on operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a Safety Officer, HSE Advisor, or similar position within mining, drilling, civil, construction, or heavy industry environments.
