Introduction

Responsible for implementing the project quality management program and ensuring the effective implementation of Contractor’s quality management system, during engineering, procurement and fabrication of Compression Platforms (CP) as part of Compression project.
The role will require interaction with all functions / disciplines across the project with PMT and Contractor
Major challenges include:
- Working under pressure, but maintaining a positive and constructive approach
- Complete multiple tasks, but not to jeopardize prioritization of activities versus criticality

About this role

Implement the Project Quality Plan and provide oversight of Contractor’s Project Quality Management System and procedures to ensure that all project activities are compliant with project specifications
Implement the Procurement Quality Surveillance Program to confirm that purchased material and equipment are compliant with project specifications and requirement
Implement the Fabrication Quality Surveillance Programme to confirm the fabrication activities are compliant with project specifications
Implement Deficiency & NCR Management processes to ensure that deficiencies and nonconformances are identified, recorded, investigated and resolved to maintain compliance with project requirements
Implement Quality Reporting process to monitor quality performance; and to communicate and report on fabrication quality performance, issues and risks, and developing trends to Head of Quality and Yard Fabrication team
Actively participate in Project Quality Audit Program to confirm that activities are conducted in accordance with agreed plans and procedures
Conduct other quality related tasks as directed by Head of Quality

Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering
Additional quality, welding or NDE inspection related qualifications
8 years experience in Quality in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
Knowledge of relevant Quality Systems, specifications, and tools.
Knowledge of Industry standards.
