Brunel, on behalf of a valued client in the energy sector, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to two General Managers within their Integrated Gas business unit. This is a pivotal role that requires exceptional organisational and administrative skills.

About this role

As a Personal Assistant, you will support two General Managers within the Integrated Gas business unit. Your responsibilities will include managing busy schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and organising travel. Acting as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure smooth daily operations and efficient time management for the General Managers.

  • Provide superior administrative and secretarial support to the General Managers
  • Coordinate and manage the GMs’ calendars, scheduling meetings, and travel
  • Monitor and prioritise the GMs’ mailboxes, responding where appropriate
  • Ensure the GMs are well-prepared for meetings and maximise their productivity
  • Develop and improve administrative processes for efficiency
  • Support the end-to-end onboarding and separation processes for team members and contractors
  • Arrange team events and workshops, providing logistical support for various events
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders



Is this you?

  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills
  • Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Access)Five+ years of experience as a Personal Assistant or administrative coordinator
  • Emotional intelligence and situational awareness
  • Professional communication and written skills
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
  • Passion for learning and personal development

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Intermediate skills in SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience using SAP
  • Relevant tertiary level qualification
  • Experience in training, developing, and managing administrative staff
