Provide commercial support related to the COMPANY's business concerning the acquisition and optimization of a fleet of chartered LNG carriers.
About this role
Support contractual negotiations for LNG carriers including charterparties, shipbuilding contracts, framework agreements, and agreements with third-party marine equipment suppliers; develop and maintain contract terms sheets, formulate offers, and evaluate counterparty counteroffers
Monitor market trends in the LNG shipping, LNG spot, and shipbuilding markets, as well as LNG carrier second-hand sales and demolitions and assess impacts on market rates
Analyze global LNG supply and demand and interpret its impact on LNG shipping and shipbuilding markets
Work with Project technical team to assess evolving regulations and emerging technologies and their commercial impact on the Project; translate Project technical requirements into contractual terms
Is this you?
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Energy or Commercial Field.
Minimum 8 years' experience in oil and/or gas transportation within an integrated shipping/oil/gas company. Demonstrated experience with economic analysis and commercial negotiation.
Strong analytical skills required.
Strong commercial marine skills required.
Marine technical and operational knowledge preferred.
Good time management and interpersonal skills.
Experienced in tender preparation and evaluation
Experienced in Contract negotiations
Able to manage multiple workstreams at the same time
Able to look ahead, think strategically while focusing on day-to-day delivery
Knowledge of marine gas/oil industry bodies, National and International maritime and shipping regulations is preferred.
Knowledge of shipping, LNG and/or oil markets is preferred.
Excellent written and spoken English skills, strong skills in report writing and presentations.
Self-starter, able to plan and adapt own workload in the face of changing priorities whilst maintaining on time and accurate delivery
