About this role

  • Oversee Offshore Maintenance Operations: Manage day-to-day maintenance activities on offshore platforms, ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead Maintenance Technicians: Supervise and coordinate a team of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation technicians, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with Planning Teams: Work closely with planners and schedulers to develop and validate maintenance plans, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety: Monitor adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements, conducting regular safety audits and incident investigations.
  • Manage Maintenance Budgets: Oversee maintenance budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and improve equipment performance.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Act as a key member of the site emergency response team, providing leadership during incidents and ensuring swift resolution.
  • Develop Team Skills: Provide training and mentorship to junior staff, supporting their professional growth and ensuring skill development.

Is this you?

  • Strong experience in offshore maintenance supervision within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary maintenance teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation).
  • Strong understanding of offshore platform systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Experience in developing and validating maintenance plans in collaboration with planners and schedulers.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant offshore safety and maintenance certifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable with FIFO schedules and living in remote offshore conditions.
