About this role

  • Lead and manage all maintenance and technical operations involving mechanical, electrical, and rotating equipment.
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operation of all machinery, technical systems, utilities, and critical infrastructure.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and corrective maintenance strategies using CMMS systems.
  • Oversee planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, major overhauls, upgrades, and modification projects.
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure maintenance activities meet company, client, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure asset integrity and compliance with classification society, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage maintenance planning, spare parts inventory, and stock optimization to ensure operational readiness.
  • Oversee maintenance budget planning, cost control, and expenditure tracking.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance efficiency.
  • Ensure all maintenance records, technical documentation, manuals, and certification records are accurate and updated.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and technical reviews of equipment condition and performance.
  • Lead risk assessments and ensure maintenance activities comply with HSE requirements.
  • Develop and mentor maintenance personnel to ensure competency and continuous capability improvement.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, vendors, and third-party contractors to ensure effective execution of maintenance programs.
  • Provide technical leadership during troubleshooting, shutdowns, and critical equipment failures.
  • Support project execution involving equipment upgrades, modifications, and technical improvements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of maintenance or technical operations experience within offshore, marine, oil & gas, LNG, drilling, FPSO, FLNG, or related industries.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership role such as Maintenance Manager, Technical Superintendent, Maintenance Superintendent, Chief Engineer, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in preventive maintenance systems, CMMS, and asset integrity management.
  • Proven experience managing mechanical, electrical, rotating, and critical operational equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, reliability improvement, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience in maintenance budgeting, cost control, and spare parts inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of classification, regulatory, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience in managing major maintenance projects, upgrades, and equipment modifications.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading multicultural teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to engage internal and external parties effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE requirements, risk assessments, and safe work practices.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage critical operational issues effectively.
  • Offshore or marine operations experience will be highly preferred.
  • Experience in drilling rigs, FPSO, FLNG, or production facilities is required.
