The purpose of the Job is to guarantee that the Maintenance & Inspection Engineering (MIE) Contractor Maintenance and Integrity deliverables follow the same strategy across the MIE Projects. This strategy must be aligned with FOPS Maintenance team requirements.
About this role
Ensure that all Maintenance and Integrity aspects are captured in the EPCIC contract CFT,
Responsible for the review of the Maintenance and Integrity technical bids and answer to Bidders Maintenance and Integrity technical clarifications,
Support the cost reduction initiative with providing C&P the requirements to challenge tenders bid, reducing the cost of the Contract.
Ensure that Maintainability aspects, handling requirements and Maintenance access are properly addressed during detailed engineering, construction and commissioning phases including participation to 3D modelling and constructability reviews.
Responsible for the preparation of Scope of Work (SOW) for the MIEC contract and assist with CFT preparation along with Field Operations Maintenance Engineering Team,
Attend weekly and monthly meetings, following progress, taking decisions, and ensuring actions are closed out without delaying the Project,
Ensure all outstanding Maintenance and Integrity related actions were managed and closed out within time.
Provide assistance to the MIE Contractor Maintenance and Integrity Leaders to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Challenge MIEC contractor for late delivery and any potential requirement for Change Orders.
Review the Maintenance and Integrity Work Time Schedule update,
Participate to Maintenance and Integrity MIEC workshops with Company Stakeholders to ensure alignment,
Attend Quarterly REX with MIEC contractor and ensuring any lessons learnt are captured in REX register for implementation into future MIECs.
Participate to the Project Quality Review Audits and ensured any outcomes are captured, actioned and closed out.
Responsible for developing new or updating existing Maintenance philosophies,
Accountable for ensuring that Maintainability aspects and Maintenance access are properly addressed during Detailed Engineering, Construction and Commissioning phases including participation to 3D model reviews,
Lead the review of the Hierarchy Breakdown deliverables issued by the MIE Projects Contractors,
Participation in RBM studies or equivalent to ensure Maintenance requirements are properly addressed,
Validate the Maintenance dossiers prepared by MIEC,
Accountable for the mass loading of PM data into the CMIMS,
Contribute to MIE contract final report and REX at the end of the project,
Accountable of Project handover to Field Operations Team for Maintenance (incl. PRODOM).
Provide support to project start-up,
Provide support as required to commissioning activities,
Facilitate efficient communication/information flow with Head of Maintenance and Inspection Engineering, Project team, stakeholders and NOC Maintenance department,
Contribute to the identification of training requirements regarding installed equipment and where required contribute to the arrangement of training with vendors for personnel,
Contribute to the identification of new specific Maintenance contracts to be used by operations for new equipment, write SOW and prepare for Call For Tender (CFT),
Ad-hoc activities as required by line manager,
All staff must be willing to participate in Crisis Response Training and to assist during Emergency Response Situations if required.
Is this you?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
Senior Maintenance Engineer with at least 10 years experience with Maintenance hand-on experience and previous experience gained in Maintenance operations management position,
Previous experience in the supervision of Maintenance Engineering activities within a project team and/or experience in the use of the Risk Based Maintenance (RBM) or equivalent would be beneficial.
Leadership skills and good communication skills,
Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
